Sincerely Adara

Adara Joi is the artist behind Sincerely, Adara, and we noticed early on that she had an entrepreneurial gene. Her creative soul was first recognized when, as a 5-year old, she started knitting with her imaginary needles. All those times in the presence of her crafty mother and big sister took its toll. It wasn’t long before she actually got her first real needles, and she was making little scarves in no time.

Then, years later she was handed some beads to occupy her at her mom’s craft shows and festivals. A toilet paper roll and empty Capri Sun box became her display in the corner of the table she cleared for her products. They were a hit! And one day, she wrote a note when she gifted one of her creations to an admirer. She signed it, “Sincerely, Adara,” hence the name. Sincerely, AdaraThe Jewelry Maker was her official entry into the self employment realm.

Today, Adara‘s creativity extends to crocheted animals (she taught herself by eyeballing a book…not actually reading the patterns) and handmade journals. There’s no telling what else she will master, but whatever it is, you can be confident it will be one-of-a-kind, like Adara.
